Overview
Working across fashion accounts to launch NPD, managing critical paths with cross-functional teams to ensure on time launches. Maintaining strong relationships with retailers while handling product pricing and coordinating information to support retail partners.
Skills
I have developed on my skill set overall, becoming more confident and being able to organise my time efficiently, managing my workload. I have improved in my excel skills and data management as well as my communication when working with external agencies and retailers.
Responsibilities
Yes, I have been given a lot of responsibility in my placement. Managing the NPD launches across Pureplayer accounts of CPD was extremely important as I needed to ensure accounts launched on time. I have ran many meetings internally and externally during my time on placement and managed the pricing for the accounts.
Support & Guidance
I have had the most AMAZING support during my internship, I cannot thank my team enough for constantly being there to help and look out for me. My managers have been incredible and were always looking out for new opportunities that I could be involved in to enhance my internship experience.
Culture
The general atmosphere of the company is great, such a positive work environment. Everyone is happy to chat with you and if you need support, people are there to help.
Your Impressions
I have absolutely LOVED my placement, it has been the most incredible experience, I simply cannot put into words how much this placement has supported my growth on a professional and personal level. I would genuinely recommend this to anyone and will always speak highly of my time on the internship programme.
Yes
My biggest piece of advice for applying is be passionate, open-minded and willing to learn. You need to make the most out your time there as a year flies by so take every opportunity you possibly can. When applying, research the company values, see if these align with your own, and implement these in your application.
