Overview
My day to day work entails detecting fraud, therefore I mainly work on cases that can be deemed as theft. I often have a lot of emails conversing with external forces such as the police in order to repossess the vehicles.
Skills
I've have learnt how to write professional emails with the correct tone depending on the person receiving my emails. I have learnt the phonetic alphabet which is very useful when speaking with the police about specific vehicles
Responsibilities
Due the hybrid working environment i do feel like I have a responsibility to make sure my daily tasks are completed. If a college was off i was given a chance to take over some of their work but i also knew that i can ask for help and it would be provided.
Support & Guidance
A lot of support initially, but after a while the managers trust that i will ask for help if i need it
Culture
Very creative and collaborative, despite only seeing my team once a week it was easy to get along with my team.
