Overview
My role is to help support and manage various projects around our manufacturing site, on a day to day basis I hold stakeholder meetings, manage contractors, keep my colleagues informed on project status among various other things.
Skills
I have learnt how to manage projects according to methodologies, time management skills, deadline skills, planning and budgeting skills.
Responsibilities
Yes, I believe I was given a large amount of responsibility during my time at my placement. My team has actively gotten me involved in projects so I can learn through practise instead of theory.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of guidance and support during my placement, my manager was always there to guide me on where I went wrong and give me support.
Culture
the company culture was amazing, team mates are really welcoming and as you progress further into placement you really feel like you're part of a family
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed it, although it was stressful at times I found that it kept me on my toes and every experience allowed me to grow.
