Overview
Your day-to-day role involves serving customers into hire vehicles through retail, insurance and corporate sources. Dealing with customers queries in person and over the phone. Face to face selling of excess protection products. Cleaning and auditing vehicles.
Skills
During my time at enterprise I have learnt and developed a lot of skills. I have learnt how to sell, how to essentially run a business and control costs as well as customer service. I have developed time management, efficiency and work ethic.
Responsibilities
At the beginning your sole responsibility is dealing with customer concerns and providing the service. As I developed and learnt more about the business you are trusted with more important roles such as running the branch which is essentially running a small business.
Support & Guidance
You have a lot of guidance with a lot of other individuals either in the same role or have previously been in the role. Everyone starts from the same role so there鈥檚 a lot of guidance from other workers.
Culture
The people is what makes Enterprise, you spent A LOT of hours with them so you will meet some interesting characters but overall the atmosphere is class, generally the teams are young and people have all come from the same role.
Your Impressions
I did enjoy the placement however it鈥檚 not for the faint hearted, as an internship it is brutal, the hours are long and the work life balance is nonexistent there are hire expectations for your role. But overall the people made the placement and the skills gained made it worth while.
No
Be prepared, you are going into a demanding role, at the start you are thrown in the deep end but you do learn so quickly and develop so many skills. The hours aren鈥檛 sociable however, so it鈥檚 not a flexible job I鈥檝e found.
