Overview
I helped lead a department of over 60 individuals daily, and ran my own projects which were vital to increase the operational efficiency of amazon world number 1 facility of its kind (IXD - inbound cross dock).
Skills
People management, project management, excel, data analysis, data mining, teamwork
Responsibilities
Yes, my projects were vital for the site to process an amount of volume which had never been achieved before. This was important due to the sites position in the supply chain, products that arrived at our site were not part of amazon until we had processed them and sent them onto further fulfilment centers to be distributed across the uk and europe.
Support & Guidance
I had monthly check in calls
Culture
Good, it was high pressure and fast paced but good for development. The management team were helpful if any problems arose
Your Impressions

Yes
Individuality is very important to amazon culture, make decisions you feel are correct and own them. Continuous improvement is a massive emphasis.
