    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • As a participant, you get to learn about what life is like at EY as well as about the different divisions in the business. You get the opportunity to network with like-minded participants as well as with current workers at EY who joined EY through various ways such as through summer internships, graduation schemes etc. Furthermore, you get the opportunity to learn and perfect your performance at an assessment centre as well as work on a real-life hands-on assessment centre task.

    Business Insight

  • 3. What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
  • Eye-opening. You really do get the chance to ask anything to the current workers at EY who are very concise and transparent about their work as well as their answers. You get a much stronger grasp of what it's really like working at each particular division whether it's Tax or tech risk etc.

    Culture

  • 4. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Calm and friendly, felt more like a caring community than a work space. There are common rumours about the toxicity and negative aspects of working at The Big 4 but I believe it's not true. The people are very supportive and the culture really does promote learning on the job which is great.

  • 5. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I enjoyed it a lot. It was very rewarding after having to do the application process and it was great getting to meet new people there who are like-minded and are as motivated as you are.

  • Be human when it comes to answering the interview questions and try not to sound robotic. Research the company values as well as their latest innovations such as their own gpt model EYAI.
