Overview
Everyday we had organised sessions relating to both information about the firm and insight into a legal career. We had wonderful networking sessions which included a three course dinner as well as an associate lunch. Furthermore, we were encouraged to set up coffee chats with current trainees, associates and even partners. To break up the sessions we were paired with a current trainee and helped with any admin or tasks they wanted to delegate.
Skills
Definitely. My communication skills have definitely improved as I was pushed to speak to new people constantly. Moreover, my attention to detail has been increased through the careful and diligent research tasks I was given by my trainee.
Business Insight
It was incredibly enlightening and it was a privilege to gain such deep insight into the firm.
Culture
Everyone was incredibly kind and willing to take time out of their busy days to talk to us. People were supportive of us and each other - it was incredibly collegiate.
Your Impressions
I loved it! It was honestly so much fun above all else. The training sessions were insightful, the tasks were challenging and the networking sessions were great.
